[REVIEW] Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask (Berry)

I've heard so many great reviews about this brand from Liah Yoo on Youtube and therefore had really high hopes for this product. I've seen this lip sleeping mask blow up in the Kbeauty/Abeauty world on Instagram, Youtube, etc. At first I thought a lip sleeping mask was kind of overindulgent and not worth paying extra money for because you could get the same results by using lip balm. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the performance of this lip mask after using this product for a couple weeks.

Every review that I've read so far had some comment on the packaging of the product. The lip sleeping mask comes in this cute, little pink container which was packaged in a very simple white and blue cardboard box. Inside the box, there was also a leaflet of information (which to be honest, who has time to read) and the most exciting thing of all, the little pink spatula which comes in it's own clear, plastic case. When you open up the container, there is a white plastic lid inside which prevents any unwanted debris from contaminating your product.

I've been using this product daily for about three weeks now and I've seen a noticeable difference in my lips. Prior to receiving this product, I was very lax about lip care; I put on lip balm at night before I went to bed occasionally as I usually either forget or was too lazy. My lips used to be very dry and often had skin peeling due to the recent cold winter. Now, my lips no longer peel despite me not using lip balm during the day.

I use this lip mask as the last step of my skincare routine. I scoop up just a tiny amount using the spatula as a little goes a long way with this lip mask. I then use the spatula to directly apply the product to my lips (of course, make sure to regularly clean the spatula). The lip mask has the same texture as a lip balm but has a slightly glossy appearance. It also has a very pleasant sweet, berry smell and the pink colour of it is to die for. I would definitely recommend trying out this product because your lips deserve some extra attention too. Also, I wanted to note that this lip mask also comes in three other flavours; Grapefruit, Vanilla and Apple Lime.
